The Dog Trainer’s Crucible is looking into hosting a Service Dog Summit, to bring together experts in the field of service dogs and service dog training. Sue Alexander, the founder of The Dog Trainer’s Crucible, trained the first psychiatric service dog in Canada, was partnered with a service dog for over 10 years, and hosted an in-person Service Dog Conference for six years. We are excited to be in the early planning stages of bringing Sue’s expertise, and the expertise of other service dog experts to an online summit that will be accessible to service dog users and trainers worldwide.

As we are in the preliminary stages of planning, we will not be processing sponsorship payments at this time. If we meet our sponsorship target by July 1st, 2026, we will be proceeding with the Service Dog Summit and will invoice those who indicated that they were willing to sponsor this event.
